On one side of the printed circuit board is the electronic circuit with two gold pads to touch at each end, on the other side the instructions is imprinted. the ends of the rod are the interface to a simple analog synthesizer, if you touch both ends of the rod you become part of the total resistance of the circuit and your own skin resistance determines the pitch the synthesizer produces. if two or more people touch one end, they can close the circuit by touching each other.
the current PCB version from 2019 is a complete redesign and will be marketed together with the Black Forest start-up Steidinger Apparatebau.
